Prihajamo iz leta 3452. Izklop čustev na nas ni deloval. Skrivali smo jih v kanalizaciji tistega časa, kjer smo pred dobrimi štirimi leti spoznali glasbo preteklosti. Našli smo letak FV Festival 2000 in naredili časovni stroj. Pot nam je skoraj preprečila časovna policija.

Prvi stik s sedanjostjo so bili pobesneli kmetje, saj smo pristali sredi koruzne njive, nekje na Gorenjskem. Navdušeni nad dejstvom, da smo prvič srečali čustva tudi pri drugih ljudeh, smo se z njimi poistovetili. Band je dobil ime Crazed Farmers. Prispeli smo na Kersnikovo in odkrili, da smo prišli v leto 2002. Na srečo je FV Festival potekal tudi to leto. Hiptnotizirali smo Moniko in poleg koncerta, nam je dala še ključe prostora za vaje. Tu tudi živimo.

Začeli smo orati po slovenski klubski sceni. V KUDu France Prešeren, Orto baru, Ravnah na Koroškem, Vrhniki, Sežani, Mariboru, Rock Otočcu 2003, Exitu 2005, Trnfestu 2005, Kranju, Sovodnju in drugih krajih smo se merili v porivanju kombija, urili v hitrostnem polaganju žic in utrjevali svojo psihofizično kondicijo s prenašanjem težkih predmetov. Da pa naše vaje niso bile preveč duhamorne, so poskrbeli dobri ljudje iz združb, ki so se imenovale: ZEKE, The Bell Rays, Psycho Path, Archie Bronson Outfit, Oko, Slon in Sadež, Salamandra. Priznamo, nekaj imen si nismo zapomnili.

Ker so vsi okoli nas mahali s posnetki, smo se odločili tudi sami ujeti zvočni zapis. Prvič smo maja 2004 obiskali Super Sonik Rekord Studio Jurki in v 14 dneh posneli 32 okusnih komadov, od katerih jih je 21 uspelo priti čez oddelek za nadzor kvalitete in na prvenec "First Crop". V drugo smo hoteli svoje znanje obogatiti in smo k sodelovanju povabili mojstra konzerviranja garažnih pridelkov Tima Kerra. V treh dneh je v studiu Jork iz sadik zraslo 16 plodov. Zgoščeni in konzervirani so v prodaji. Konzerve nosijo napis "Because"

Far Ma, tretji dolgometražni zvočni izdelek Crazed Farmers, je transformirana kmecka krajina, ki sluzi simbolicnem poigravanju z anomalijami (sizofrene) druzbe, je druzbeni projekt, avtorsko neavtorski obracun s kliseji in prepletanje razlicnih zavesti, ki zvocne podobe oblikuje v odprti kodi. Far Ma v klasicno razumevanje rockovske instrumentalne strukture vnasa soocanje z manj rockovski instrumenti. Trobentam in orglicam, ki so trdno zasidrana v naboru rock instrumentov, se v novem izdelku pridruzijo bolj tradicionalni, ce ze ne ljudski, dude, bombardon in drumla. Zamenjava pevca z dvema novima je odprla moznosti vec glasnega petja. Gostja iz kanadskega Vancouvra Jen Paches, skladateljica, ,,kantavtorica s klavirjem in bobni", odigra klavir na treh songih, ter prispeva spremljevalne vokale. Tako instrumenti, ki razsirjajo osnovno jazz rockovsko baterijo kitar in bobnov, kot vokalna pestrost vec vokalistov in spremljevalnega zbora, izdelek naredi pester, samosvoj, izviren, ter kljub vpetosti v standardno rock and roll strukturo prinasa svezino, ki jo kitare in bobni z ritmicno in zvokovno raznolikostjo poudarijo ter nadgradijo vse tja do jazz obzorij. Besedila vec avtorjev se z lahkoto izognejo sveti preproscini rim in jo zopet zajamejo tam, kjer je to potrebno. Preprosto receno, poezija v rocku.

Well, it was worth it! Four years of farming, experimenting, pouring, fertilizing, and hoeing resulted in a First Crop and Because.

Well, let us start at the beginning.

We come from the year 3452 when the system failed to turn off our feelings. Hiding them in the canalization of that time and wandering around, not knowing what to do with ourselves, we found the sounds of the past. It was four years ago, when we found leaflet for the Slovenian underground festival FV Festival 2000. The decision was not hard to made. A time machine was built and the travel to the year 2000 has begun. We were discovered by the Time Police and they almost succeeded to prevent our escape from that emotionless times.

First touch of the present time were crazed farmers. A group of furious farmers pursued us, because our journey ended in the middle of their corn field. We were thrilled about the fact, that we met other people with real emotions. This inspired us to call our group after this great people. Crazed Farmers!

Luckily we succeeded to run away from those crazed farmers and went strait to Ljubljana, where we discovered, that we actually came into the year 2002. Luckily FV festival was going on that year too. We hypnotized Monika who was organizing festival. She gave us keys of the room where we could have jam sessions and live in.

So we started to break new land. Competing in pushing the van, speed string laying and getting tougher by carrying heavy stuff we traveled through venues like KUD France Prešeren, Orto bar, Ravne na Koroškem, Vrhnika, Kranj, Sovodenj and EXIT 2005 (invited by organizer as new promising band), Festival Rock Otočec 2003 (invited by organizer as new promising band), Trnfest. Our paths has crossed with good people from groups like The Bell Rays, Psycho Path, Archie Bronson Outfit, ZEKE, Oko, Slon in Sadež, Salamandra and many more.

Encouraged by good reactions on the taste of our harvests, we decided to store it permanently. That's why we went in the end of May last year to Super Sonik Rekord Studio Jurki. In a couple of hardworking days we managed to store First Crop. After that we packed it and signed a deal with Nika records. We thought that December would be the best time to put it out on the market. People seems to like it very much, because it got very good revives by critics and it was chosen for the best Slovenian album of the year 2004 by the listeners of alternative radio Student.

As all good farmers we continued to plant new seeds. But we wanted learn more about harvesting. That's why we invited Tim Kerr, an expert to teach us. In a natural environment of studio Jork we succeeded to reap16 songs. Album is ready.
